Library Cards

            library card

Anyone residing in the state of California may obtain a library card. You may also register online for a temporary library card. The temporary card is valid for 30 days and grants use of online databases and allows the cardholder to place holds on items. In order to activate a permanent card, stop by any branch of the Livermore Public Library within 30 days. You will need proof of your name and address. Persons under 16 will need a parent or guardian signature.

Livermore Public Library cards work at all three Livermore branches. Library cards must be presented when materials are checked out.

Up to five requests can be placed at at time using a Livermore Public Library card. Items checked out with a Livermore Public Library card may be returned at any Livermore branch library.
