Holds Information

Request a Single Item | Request Multiple Items | Modify Holds | Cancel Holds   |

Ready for Pickup?

 

Requesting a Single Item:

Go to the library catalog. You do not have to be logged in to Save Titles.

Search for the title you wish to hold.

If your search produces a list of multiple titles, click on the blue linked title of the item you wish to request to view the full record screen

Click on the request button. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to enter your name and library card number and to choose a branch location where you would like to pick up your item.single request

The cancel date defaults to 90 days from the date the hold is placed if left blank. Select another date if you need to.

Click submit

Request Multiple Items

Save items to your bookbag

Click the view savesbutton at the top or bottom of the screen.

A list of your saved records will appear on toward the bottom of the screen.

Click the request multi button.

Type in your name and library card number. Note: if you are searching the catalog through your Library Account, you will only need to choose a pickup location.

You can choose to hold all of the items in your Book Bag by clicking on the request all button. If you would like to request only selected titles from your Book Bag list, you must click the check box to the left of each title you want to request, and then click on the request selectedbutton.

After you have finished requesting your item(s)click on either the view savesor start overbuttons.

If you are have been searching the catalog while logged into your Library Account, click on the logoutbutton.

Modify Hold Pickup Location

Login to your Account

View your holds by clicking on the holdbutton.

Under "Pickup Location" you will see a dropdown menu of the library branches. Choose the branch where you wish to have your holds sent and click the search updatebutton.

Cancel Holds

In your list of holds, put a check next to the title you wish to cancel.

Click the  submit  button.

Or, if you wish to cancel all of your holds, click on the cancelbutton.

Hold Is Ready for Pickup

There are two ways to know when your requested material is ready for you to pick up

  • You receive a phone call or e-mail informing you that your hold is ready for pick up.
  • You check My Account and you see item(s) "Ready for Pickup."

    If you click on the text, you will see your full hold list and the titles of the material that are ready for pickup are indicated under status.
