Enforcement:

The Traffic Unit participates in a variety of programs designed to make our roadways safer. Among them are:

• Parking Penalty Schedules 2009
• Avoid the 21
• Bicycle Diversion
• Click it or Ticket
• Combined Intensive Trafifc Enforcement (CITE)
• Commercial Officers of Southern Alameda County(COSAC)
  
• DUI saturation patrols

• Bicycle Safety Programs

• Every 15 Minutes
  
• Occupant Protection
  
• Office of Traffic Safety (OTS)
  The Traffic Unit works closely with the Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) to fund many of the programs as well as purchasing needed equipment.
• School Safety Programs
